These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of GuruMap (gurumap.org), operated from Ireland ("GuruMap", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
2. The service
GuruMap is a travel planning tool. Recommendations, schedules, ticket costs, weather notes and access rules are informational and may be generated with automated assistance. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular trip. Always verify critical details (opening hours, tickets, access, road conditions) before travelling.
3. Plan Packs & payment
- Half Pack — €7 for a fixed 30-day term. Up to 10 saved trips, up to 12 stops per tour circuit, the core traveler criteria, map, route optimizer, navigation, schedules, ticket costs, weather tips and ⚠️ access rules.
- Full Pack — €17 for a fixed 30-day term. Everything in Half Pack unlocked in full, plus unlimited saved trips, the AI Help bubble on every spot, the real-time navigation buddy, personalized cheer messages, the Romance & Sunset / Quiet-Remote / Nightlife map layers and the Adventure Bonus criteria.
- Pro Traveler Pack — €100 for a fixed 12-month term. Everything in Full Pack, with unlimited trips and unlimited stops per circuit, all specials and Adventure Bonus extras always on, unlimited AI Help buddy use, and automatic entry to the monthly Photo Review Contest. Paid once for the whole 12-month term.
- Every Plan Pack is a single one-time payment taken in advance via Stripe. Half Pack and Full Pack grant access for a fixed 30-day term; the Pro Traveler Pack grants access for a fixed 12-month term.
- No subscription and no automatic renewal. A Plan Pack is not a subscription: you are charged once, access runs for the fixed term you paid for, and nothing is ever charged again. We email you a reminder before the term ends; if you want to continue, you buy a new Plan Pack yourself.
- You can buy a new Plan Pack, update payment methods or download invoices at any time from the in-app billing portal.
- Vouchers (for example Photo Review Contest prizes) apply their value as a one-time discount on the next plan you select, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice sent to your account email.
- Taxes (VAT/GST) are calculated by Stripe based on your billing country.
4. Cancellation & refunds
You may cancel at any time from your account. See our Refund Policy for details, including the EU 14-day withdrawal right and the immediate-access waiver you accept at checkout.
5. Acceptable use
- No scraping, reverse-engineering, resale, or automated bulk queries.
- No unlawful, harmful, hateful, sexual, or infringing content in reviews or uploads.
- Do not upload other people's images or personal data without permission.
- We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
6. User content (reviews, photos, videos)
You retain ownership of what you post. You grant GuruMap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and moderate your content for the purpose of operating the service. You confirm you have the rights to any material you upload.
7. Third-party services
The service uses Google Maps, Google Places, Google Routes, and payment processing by Stripe. Their terms apply to those parts of the experience.
8. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuruMap is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for travel decisions taken based on the service. Nothing in these Terms limits your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time by contacting support@gurumap.org. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
