Android early access
Become a GuruMap tester
GuruMap plans a full day of travel — spots, timings, ticket prices, tolls, weather and access rules — in about a minute. We need a small group of Android testers before Google lets us launch publicly. Testers get the Full Pack free for the whole test.
How it works
- 1
Send us your Gmail address
Google Play can only add testers by Gmail / Google account address. Email it to us and we add you to the tester list.
- 2
Accept the invitation
Open the opt-in link below on the phone that uses that Gmail account and tap “Become a tester”.
- 3
Install GuruMap from Google Play
The same page then shows a Play Store link. Install it like any normal app.
- 4
Keep it installed for 14 days
This is the part that matters most. Google checks that testers stay opted in continuously. Please do not uninstall during the test period.
- 5
Tell us what broke
Plan at least one trip, start navigation, and send any feedback to support@gurumap.org. Honest criticism is the useful kind.
Tester checklist
You don’t need to buy anything. Just use the app like a real trip — this is what Google looks for.
- Sign up with your own email and confirm it
- Pick a trip type and set your criteria
- Run one search with a radius you choose
- Add at least one spot manually by tapping the map
- Optimise the route, then start navigation for a minute
- Save the trip, reopen it the next day
- Open the app on at least 5 different days
- Send one short note about what felt confusing
Ask for a free tester pack
Testers don’t pay. Fill this in and we email you a voucher code you redeem at checkout.
Prefer not to install anything?
GuruMap also runs straight in your browser — but only installed Android testers count towards the Google Play requirement.
